The funding of FFEM

Initially established for a period of four years, the FGEF has been extended twice, in 1998 and 2003.
With funding from the State budget, the FGEF contributes to Official Development Assistance with resources amounting to 201 million euros for the years 1994 to 2006.
Its resources add to the French contribution to the Global Environment Fund (GEF), with which it shares the same areas of activity.
