Interministerial governance

The FGEF works with six French institutional partners

Each project or programme co-financed by the FGEF is submitted under the responsibility of one of the five institutions represented on its steering committee:

These are:

  • The Ministry for the Economy, Industry and Employment• The Ministry for Foreign and European Affairs
  • The Ministry for Ecology, Energy, Sustainable Development, Transports and Coasts
  • The Ministry for Higher Education and Research
  • The Ministry for Agriculture, Food, Fisheries, rural Affairs and Planning
  • The Agence Française de Développement (AFD), which is in charge of the FGEF's administrative and financial management.
