Strategic programming frameworks 2013-2014
The strategic programming framework (SPF) is a strategic planning instrument for FGEF activities that facilitates implementation of the missions assigned to it and activity monitoring by the members of the Steering Committee. It sets out the steering committee's guidelines in terms of principles, priority topic areas, geographical zones and partners, organisational procedures, criteria, and methods or technologies to be encouraged.
Each programming framework is established for a period of two years. The most recent covers 2013-2014, following the four previous programming frameworks for 2003-2004, 2005-2006, 2007-2008 and 2011-2012.

This brochure contains the main figures illustrating the FGEF’s position as a key partner in action against environmental degradation. The figures reflect the FGEF’s strong commitment to abide by French international undertakings to preserve the global environment. Beyond the figures, the FGEF offers means to build synergies between French bilateral and multilateral aid, and acts as a laboratory for the development of new ways of financing innovating and replicable experiences.
