AGORA: An Ambitious Project for Sustainable Cooling in West Africa

Ghana and Nigeria are paving the way for a more sustainable future with the AGORA project, supported by the French Facility for Global Environment (FFEM).

This initiative, led by UNDP and UNEP, aims to transform the market for refrigerators and air conditioners by promoting energy-efficient and environmentally friendly technologies. Diane Ménard, Head of the Ozone, Pollution & Circular Economy projects at FFEM, emphasizes:
