With a strong presence at the IUCN Congress, the Mangroves Initiative presented various results at three events:
1.THEMATIC SESSION Global Pressures on Mangroves and Their Communities: Solutions from Conservation and Restoration

2. LAUNCH OF TWO EDUCATIONAL BOOKS PRODUCED IN COLLABORATION WITH OCÉANOPOLIS
It is essential today that future generations become engaged and acquire the skills necessary to implement actions that ensure the survival of essential ecosystems such as mangroves. These books are intended for Non-Governmental Organizations that work daily in the field, students and young professionals, protected area managers, teachers in the territories involved, and local authorities. The final section highlights the professions and skills required for the survival and preservation of mangroves.
