FFEM and AFD launch a series of three (online) Webinars dedicated to Ecoconstruction: "THE THURSDAYS OF ECOCONSTRUCTION"
They will successively address three key themes for its deployment and scaling up, by crossing perspectives from the South and the North:
1. Standardization, 2. Training, 3. Image Change
Webinar #1 in a few key words:
Define and characterize ecoconstruction and eco-materials;
Labelling and certification of materials, techniques and uses, the challenge of structuring a sector;
Development of open-source tools for impact assessment (carbon, life cycle, social co-benefits);
Accessibility of certifications to VSEs-SMEs and the role of good practice guides as a step towards standardization.
This webinar n°1 aims to bring together public & private actors, researchers and practitioners around the theme of Standardization of ecoconstruction and structuring a sector.
