About us
For 30 years, the French Facility for Global Environment (FFEM) has been promoting innovation for the environment. By financing pilot projects in developing countries, it takes concrete action to preserve biodiversity, the climate, land, water and the ozone layer, and to combat pollution. Its ambition is to test solutions, prove their impact and replicate them on a large scale. As a partner of public, private and civil society actors, FFEM has supported more than 400 projects in 120 countries, mainly in Africa and the Mediterranean, contributing to the Sustainable Development Goals.
